Riverbend Accounting believes women-owned businesses and small businesses are the lifeblood of our community. I graduated from Western Illinois University with my accounting degree after being a stay-at-home mom with my two sons for almost a decade. I hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero Advisor Certifications. I specialize in working with clients to utilize cloud-based software. I love working with small businesses in accounting services (especially with Financial Statement Preparations), so in 2017 I moved to the private accounting sector where I enjoyed working in construction as a Corporate Controller. In that position, I became very interested in cost management and strategic analysis. I worked with complicated union payrolls, sales tax compliance, and WIP reporting. In 2019 I took my experience, education, and passion for accounting and opened Riverbend Accounting, LLC. In my downtime, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and sons on the "bend in the Mississippi" where we live.
